POPS Group

Are you interested in reading the book No, Why Kids of All Ages Need to Hear It and Ways Parents Can Say It by Dr. David Walsh? This book is endorsed by numerous educational entities along with a coalition of 13 parent and health organizations. The book is part of a statewide campaign to say "No" and raise healthy, successful children. Feedback is requested regarding forming a study group facilitated by Ann-Marie Foucault (Primary Principal). Assigned pages would be read prior to meetings and a facilitated discussion would ensue at the POPS meetings. Please let me know your thoughts.

I agree that kids don't hear the word "no" enough these days. I would love to read this book.

Please attend the meeting on October 14th as I will be distributing the books. It’s a wonderful book to read! :)

I'm new at this. Where is the meeting and what time, etc.?

The meeting is at 7:00 p.m. in the media center. We will talk about the logistics involved with the discussion of the book. I'll also give an overview of what's happening at the Primary and give parents an opportunity to ask questions/give feedback. Please visit the Primary website and look under “parent group” for additional meeting dates and information.
